Why Go On A Retreat? What Are The Benefits For You

haute-stock-photography-wanderlust-final-2.jpg

There are many benefits to going on a retreat but firstly we must understand that not all retreats are the same. There are many different types of retreats available and it depends what you are looking for as to what you expect.

As a women’s retreat facilitator, I want to inspire other women by taking them on an unforgettable voyage to exotic and beautiful places around the world. I want to EMPOWER women to change their thinking and their life.

As women we all lead busy lives, we give so much to others around us, become stressed and forget to relax and unwind. We need to allow time to think about the simple things in life that fill our heart with joy or time to reflect, form connections with other women, be nurtured in a safe environment and have a fabulous time whilst on a well deserved holiday.

I believe its important to feel the true essence of what other cultures have to offer, while residing in comfortable accommodation and having your specific dietary needs catered to.

These retreats are about exploring another culture, bonding with other like minded women and forming new friendships while having fun, great food, pampering, spa treatments and massages with free time to relax and explore.

Also as part of these retreats there are workshops, personal development, cultural and spiritual activities, and optional adventures for those that want to explore more.

All retreats are custom designed to be a fantastic experience that’s aligned with the location. For instance, they can be tailored for small get-togethers. a special occasion like a milestone birthday or a girls just-wanna-have-fun weekend.

GOING ON A RETREAT WILL ASSIST YOU TO

  • REFLECT ON YOUR PURPOSE, PASSION AND MEANING OF YOUR LIFE

  • A TIME FOR SELF-REFLECTION AND A JOURNEY OF SELF -DISCOVERY THROUGH WORKSHOPS TO FIND YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF

  • RELAX, DESTRESS AND PRESS THE PAUSE BUTTON ON LIFE

I have what I like to call The Ten R’s of retreating

  1. Retreat : Escape the world

  2. Recognise : Understand your need to be nurtured, so you can sustain yourself and others

  3. Relax :Calm your body, mind and approach to life

  4. Revitalise :Slow down, breathe deeply and sleep soundly

  5. Restore : Reinvigorate your sense of balance and equanimity

  6. Replenish: Renew your strength, vitality and energy for life

  7. Release : Let go of your expectations and just be

  8. Reflect: Contemplate your purpose and the meaning of your life

  9. Renew: Find a new perspective on life

  10. Rejoice : Have fun, and celebrate all that you are

Experiencing a retreat will fill your heart with joy and change how you view the world.

Where we currently reside is just a drop in the ocean of the big world around us.

My travels around the world and retreating have changed how I see the world.

It has been LIFE CHANGING for me and it can be for you also

Live your dreams. “Change your thinking, change your life”
